PHOTOGRAPHY

When I'm not writing, I'm snapping pictures. Mostly of my kids, but branching out to kids that are not mine. Kids are amazing to photograph. They are naturally expressive, their faces are fresh and unblemished, and they exhibit pure emotion, unedited, untouched, unrestrained. Because they are always running around, they make you work hard for every shot, so when you get a good one, the reward is even greater. Here are a few recent favorites. And oh, yea, the paperback edition of The Secret Lives of Boys hits bookstores August 24, same as my little boy's birthday!
